[App Review] Words by Post

Written by Doug Puccetti(Me) on www.techhog.com:

Scrabble type games have been popular since the first app store was introduced. Most know of the game, Words with Friends; However, there's been a game on the market that goes by the name of Words by Post. One of my good friends introduced me to this game a few months ago. I've used both of these apps and quite frankly, I happen to like Words by Post better. It's developed and managed by one person who is very passionate about the application. It's available on Windows, Android and Apple app markets and works cross compatible with each. The application also saves all your games to your user name just like you'd expect. So if you get a new phone or re-download the app, all your games will load back up.

Some times you play these types of games and a friend plays a crazy, unheard of word. Well, there is a cool feature that brings this game above the rest; Word definitions. Just tap on the word and it opens up a dictionary with the definition(s). There is also an online ranking system for rating your wins and losses against random opponents. Notifications are also available on all platforms for when a new game is made, one is ended or if it's your turn. Multiple board skins and a sleek design makes it look more professional and appealing to the eye (well my eye at least).

Here is what the game looks like:

There is a free version and an paid version on the market. So download the game and invite your friends. You wont regret it.
