Are 3D Phones Worth the Money?

Okay, if you don't know already, blog stands for "place where someone babbles about random things that interest them and usually not many people care about." And I enjoy to do just that. However, if you're reading this you might have, at some point, asked yourself this very question. But in my honest opinion, I will tell you that I feel they are a waste of money. *Dodging shoes (presendital reference)* HEY, let me explain...

Its simple, you wanted a 3D phone because it the cool, new, 'hip' thing but when you get it you feel a bit disappointed. 3D doesn't really mean jump out at you in 3D like the awesome movies do(not talking about avatar, umm yuck). Although they come with a dual camera for 3D video shooting, the phone itself isn't actually 3D. Most of the time you have to press a button on the side of the phone to activate a new and cool 'pop-out-at-you'-screen. Most of the time its basically a wheel of apps that spin towards you while they enlarge and shrink depending on their location in the wheel, i.e., 3D effect.

The battery life on these new phones are poor. You would think with amazing screen sizes and now 3D graphics, they would update the battery capacity.
*Sigh*
You'll be lucky if you happen to get half a day with some of the newer phones. The 3D graphics drain a ton of battery so keeping it plugged in when using it might be the only option. Lastly, because of the 2 cameras, updated graphics and such, the 3D phones are very bulky. Ughhh, nothing I want to contend with.

Final thoughts(Yes Jerry I'm talking about you...)
All in all, at this point in time, 3D phones just don't seem worth it to me personally. All they read are bulky, battery killer and... and... silly? They're great to show off to the kid in class you'll never see again but all your friends will hear about for the next 2 years (If you can bear it) is how your phones about to die... There are plenty of great phones out there that will last you a day or two and still get the job done. Just shop around, maybe a 3D phone is right for you.
