New HTC Titan (Preview)

"Its massive!"(Thats what she said).

AT&T users are bracing themselves for the newest windows phone expected to be released late 2011 early 2012. The HTC Titan lives up to its name. It comes standard with Windows 7.5 mango OS. With a screen size of 4.7in, who wouldnt want to use this as a mobile movie watching device without carrying around a tablet (However, this phone might put cargo pockets back in style).

The HTC Titan sets a high benchmark for newer phones and devices since it comes with 512 MB of ram and also is powered by a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. Wow, now thats a mouthful (Thats what she said again...). But dont let the size scare you away, It only gets better from there. A nice 8MP wide angle camera which is married with a 1.3MP front facing camera and a dual LED flash.

Running off a 1600 mAh battery, expect this phone to last you a while. However, not to long. The size of the screen will drain battery life more than other smartphones out there. But I think its a great idea HTC incoperated a larger battery in this device. With 11 hours of talk time, the phone is ranking above average (8 hours), but with heavy use, dont expect anything more than 6-8 hours.

Other hardware additions include microUSB charging port(Standard for newer phones), Tethering and standard 3.5mm Headphone jack.

The HTC Titan might be a large phone in hand, but I have a feeling this will be setting a high benchmark for future smartphones.
